CHRS on location at the AMERICAN MUSEUM OF RADIO

The top museum of wireless and radio devices and pre-wireless scientific literature is located in Bellingham WA

Established in 1989 by Jonathan Winter and originally called the Bellingham Antique Radio Museum, it was renamed and moved in 2001. John Jenkins added his collection of early wireless and electrical devices and rare books, bringing the total collection to 1200 items.

Significantly, the Bellingham collections include rare first editions from 1560-1897 by Gilbert, Boyle, Dufay, Franklin, Priestly, Galvani, Volta, Oersted, Henry, Ohm, Faraday, Maxwell, Hertz, Branley, and many others important to the discovery and use of electricity and wireless.
