KLIV/KRTY San Jose

Another local radio station is donating their equipment to CHRS.

With KRE we got the building. With KLIV we get many consoles, cart machines, tape recorders, transmitters, even the tower lights. We can equip the KRE studios

It is deja vu going through this old building. It is messier and dirtier than KRE, and the building is being demolished in a few months. We need to get there with our trucks and take it away.
Engineer Mike with towers lights. According to Mike we can take everything we want, use it, sell it for profit, donate it - in other words, no restrictions. The interior of the building is very dusty and all the equipment iss in disorganized piles.
There are many control boards 1950s and 1960s era, many turntables, hidden so I couldn't photograph them. Also, no lights in parts of the building so it was difficult to see everything.
